Del-Mar/DC Basket

To represent the Del-Mar and DC area, Melanie Arnold, Claire Ward and April Hancock have combined our efforts to create a truly delectable basket that will soon be on its way to PicknicK HQ in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Contents of this basket include something for everyone:

* A squeeze "stress" sheep (stamped with USDA) from the USDA employee store in Washington, DC. Who ever heard of stress in DC??
* An ornament-it's a tricolor Cardi (yes, Cardi Folks) in front of the US Capitol !! Drool over this one!
(The DC items are taking the slow mail train to Maryland, so as soon as they arrive, the basket will go out in the fast brown truck.)
* A Maryland Terrapins cap from the University of Maryland for the Man of the House
* A "Fear the Turtle" (love that slogan and logo) sport shirt from the University of Maryland, kids size L, for the junior of the house
* A Baltimore Orioles ball cap, for the cap wearer of the house
* A One Size Fits All very large purple Baltimore Ravens T Shirt, for the lady to sleep in or the men to fight over

* A die cast replica of the Team Turtle Racing Car sponsored by the Univ of MD. The NASCAR driver of this car happens to be a friend of mine, and he is a cancer survivor who donates much of his time and proceeds to children with cancer.

*Thousands of decadent calories in a big ole bag of The Original Caramel Cream candies, made in Baltimore by Goetze's Candy Company, and mini "cow tails" sprinkled around the basket (vanilla caramel creams).

* a bag of "The Crab Potato Chip" seasoned with Old Bay Crab seasoning
* A 2 pack of Mick's Cream of Crab soup, originated in my very own home town of Indian Head, and now canned and sold through local stores. Delicious!! Yummy. Lots and lots of crabmeat! MMMMMMmmmmm.

* A crab mallet, and if you don’t do crabs, you can use it as a gavel at the auction!
* For the doggies in the family, 6 little homemade treats donated by a local bakery, tennis balls on a rope toy, stuffed squeaky toy from Milk Bone, latex squeaky toy, 2 red "Wipe Your Paws" towels, and a black and red paw print bandana to keep your doggie looking sharp,
*not sure if this is for the humans or the doggies: A 2 CD set of "relaxation music" with a picture of 2 couch potato dogs literally relaxing on the couch. Maybe it is to soothe the anxious dog?
